Season:
The preparations for the construction of the first KONA bike parks in the Czech Republic started in 2006. The bike park came to existence particularly thanks to T. Lučan (ISF) and T. Prochazka (GL). In 2007, the first free-ride trail leading from the top of Špičák hill (1202m) was opened.
At present, the Spicak bike park belongs to the most progressively developing bike parks in Czechia.
In total, the park has several kilometres of freeride trails, one downhill trail, a jump section and a skill centre for beginners and and a warming-up located near the lower chair-lift station.
The trails are led partly in the forest and partly on ski slopes. Every trail is equipped with wooden obstacles and other challenging technical trail features.
To get to the top of Špičák (1202m) you can take the modern 4-seat chair lift.
Directly inside the Sport Centre there is a parking lot as well as accommodation and catering possibilities. For bikers there are prepared bike rental services (MTB,DH/FR), bike repair services and a shop.
Bike Rentals:
The bike rentals are located near the lower chair lift station in the Sport Centre Špičák and at the wellness hotel Horizont.
