The location of Pila for “active holidays” is by now famous, but perhaps nobody expected that Pila was equipped of a true “bike-stadium”: 4 main tracks and 3 variants of permanent mountain bike slopes with different degrees of difficulty, 1 free ride track towards Aosta, going down a 1700 m. gradient slope for a 11 km long distance. Pila is the first resort in Aosta Valley and one in the western Alps with a downhill slope.

Downhill

In Pila you can find 4 main tracks and 3 variants of permanent mountain-bike slopes with different degrees of difficulty.

Freeride

Leaving from the peack at 2.700 m, the Pila-Aosta freeride track is 15 km long with a vertical drop of 1.100 m. You can return to the summit with the high speed cable car that will take you in only 17 min from the stunning roman town of Aosta to the breathless mountains peacks with 360° view.

Cross Country

in Pila is also possible to choose, beyond the tracks of bike-stadium, a good number of very easy tracks: 12 routes for a total of 185 km of descent, starting from 2300 jusqu’ to 600 m. of altitude which will plunge you into an extraordinary panorama with sights on the 4000 valdôtains.
