With the organization of the 2008 Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships, Val di Sole made an important return to the international sports scene, therefore confirming and once again presenting itself as a world championship valley: thus proving that it is definitely an important and preferred destination point for tourists that want an active vacation, in particular for mountain bikers.

A fascinating tour that gives everyone the chance to admire the Brenta Dolomites while riding a bike. 171 km through amazing scenery that continually changes right in front of your eyes. The routes, which are almost all located within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, have been designed and prepared to satisfy the needs of the most demanding bikers (Expert itineraries) but also for “not so expert” bikers (Country itineraries). There are many bike rental and bike shops in the valley. Centro Bike is directly at the Downhill course in Commezzadura.
New for summer 2013 (from 16.06 to 22.09) for guests staying in Val di Sole is the "Val die Sole Opportunity" card.
- unlimited access on more than 10 cable lifts, chairlifts and gondola lifts in Peio, Passo Tonale and Folgarida-Marilleva* (including bike transport where possible);
- unlimited access to bus transportation in Val di Sole and to Madonna di Campiglio;
- unlimited access to the local train service between Mostizzolo-Marilleva 900 including the TRAIN+BIKE service**;
- unlimited access to the BIKEBUS service between Marilleva 900-Cogolo**;
- admission to the most important museums and historical sites in the Valley: Forte Strino (fort) and the Museo Guerra Bianca (WWI museum) in Vermiglio, the Molino (Watermill museum) in Rabbi, the Malga Talè museum in Peio and others;
- free admission at the Pejo and Rabbi Thermal Spa Centers to sample the water from the various mineral springs.

The “Val di Sole Opportunity” can also be purchased, but only a “6-day” card is available at a cost of 60 euros for adults and 42 euros for juniors age 12 to 16; children under age 12 will receive these services free of charge only if accompanied based on a 1:1 ratio.
